It is always with much excitement that we look forward to our Annual Memorial Prize Giving Ceremony and Lunch and this year was no exception and the event certainly lived up to all our expectations!

With our increased numbers this year, we held the event at Carter High School and it proved to be the perfect venue.  Our Guest Speaker was Mr Thembani Bukula, Member/Regulator – Electricity South Africa and National Energy Regulator South Africa (NERSA) who shared his journey through education to reach his goals and achieve in his chosen field.

This celebration is, of course, an opportunity for us all to remember our beloved Mum and Mentor, Dikeledi Mkumla and her unshakeable dedication to her three children and now, in turn, the same dedication is brought by them in her honour.

This year we have added another 11 learners bringing the total at Carter High to 22!  Our Learners did not disappoint us and produced outstanding results – as can be seen from the selection of photographs.  We are so proud of them all and look forward to seeing them through their remaining years at Carter High School.
